How much does shipping cost?

We keep things simple so you can get back to your TBR pile:

Flat Rate Shipping: $8.00 AUD across all of Australia.
Free Shipping: Spend $50 or more in a single order and the freight is on us!

Why is shipping $8.00 for one book?

As a small independent bookstore, we don't have the massive shipping contracts of the giant retailers. We use tracked Australian parcel services to ensure your book arrives safely and isn't lost in the mail. To get the best value, we recommend grabbing a second book—shipping usually stays the same price!

How long will it take for my books to arrive?

The Owl is quick! We typically pack and dispatch orders within 1–2 business days. Once sent, standard delivery within Australia usually takes 3–8 business days depending on your location. You’ll receive a tracking number as soon as your order is on its way.

How are the books packaged?

We treat our books with respect. Your order will be securely wrapped to protect it from moisture and "rough travels" through the postal system. We also use recycled or recyclable materials whenever possible to keep our planet green.
